My uncle, Edwin Ramsey served in the 827th bomber squadron, 484th bomber group in Fogia, Italy on a B24 Liberator. The entire plane was lost on January 20, 1945. Milton A. Stansberry was the pilot. They were returning from a mission in Austria when the plane few into a cloud bank and was not seen to come out. The other members of the crew were: Herbert Brooks, William Coon, Charles Karban Jr, Robert Kemp, Joseph Mick, Joseph Parliman Jr, Michael Petruska, Leroy Rochford Jr, and Norton Stuart. (There were 11 men on that plane instead of the usual 10 for that mission including a photographer.) Is there anyone out there that might remember Edwin, or other family/descendants of the crew that was lost that day?

I have a little information about the crew and I made contact with a man who was making a documentary film that was going to include information about them. I'm not sure what he found in his research but I can put you in touch wiht him and share our correspondence.
