Does anyone know anyone who either served or flew with this fellow: Woodrow Wilson Second Lieutenant, U.S. Army Air Forces Service # O-711102 827th Bomber Squadron, 484th Bomber Group, Heavy Entered the Service from: Texas Died: 7-Oct-44 Buried at: Plot C Row 8 Grave 4 Rhone American Cemetery Draguignan, France Awards: Distinguished Flying Cross He was killed in a motorcycle accident rather than in combat. I think he was ferrying gasoline to Southern France on his last missions. He was a B-24 pilot. He is my uncle and I am just trying to find out all I can about him. Thanks in advance for any info. Bruce

Hi Bruce,
If you will look at the Torretta Flyer index you'll see a listing about Woodrow Wilson. It refers to a letter that was published in Torretta Flyer #16 page 30. The letter is from a crewmember named James Clemmons and I have an address for him which I will give to you if you contact me directly.
